Start with the occasion, then work out the details
You do not need a finished mood board to ask for help. Describe the person you are celebrating, the approximate guest count and whether you imagine a seated meal, a relaxed gathering or a larger party. A few reference pictures can help communicate colors and atmosphere.
For a surprise birthday, include the guest-of-honor arrival time and who will coordinate access to the space. For a milestone celebration, consider whether photographs, keepsakes or a particular color palette should be part of the design.
Make room for the people and the party
At-home parties and rented venues need different arrangements. Check how many guests can sit comfortably, where food and drinks will go, and which areas must stay clear. A backdrop should leave room for people to take photographs without blocking the rest of the gathering.
- At home: share photographs of the room or outdoor area and explain access for setup.
- At a venue: confirm the furniture provided, decorating rules and allowed setup and cleanup times.
- Outdoors: identify a weather backup and describe the surface where seating or decor will be placed.
Chairs, linens and decorative pieces
You can discuss rental needs with the party design. Include chair quantities, table measurements for linens, and any interest in a backdrop, arch, table decor or furniture. Jamie will confirm which pieces and quantities are available.
Rental photographs, prices, delivery and setup are confirmed for your event. An inspiration image is a starting point for a conversation, not a promise that every item pictured is available.
Birthday help across Missouri
Jamie is based in Poplar Bluff and serves celebrations throughout Missouri, including St. Louis, Columbia and Springfield. Send the date and exact location with your inquiry so travel and practical arrangements can be discussed alongside the design.
Birthday services are quoted individually. Share an approximate budget and explain whether it covers decor only, rentals, setup or the wider celebration. That helps keep the proposed work aligned with what you need.
